TECHNICAL Specification
Eaton Central Battery Systems AC/AC LoadStar-PS
LoadStar-PS is the new family of emergency lighting AC/AC central battery systems. The LoadStar-PS range is designed specifically for long-term sustainability. Due to the passive standby operation of the inverter, which only operates when required, the running power is kept to a minimum.
Key Features and Standards
EN50171 certified by DEKRA
230/400V AC Output voltage
Touch-screen display for a simple icon-guided configuration
Designed to reduce operational expenditure throughout lifetime of the system
Automatic Test Emergency Lighting System
The Eaton AT-S+ Central Battery System is an automatic test emergency lighting system (AC/AC) designed for safety lighting.
Key Features and Standards
Monitoring & Technology: Uses STAR+ technology for individual luminaire monitoring (up to 20 per circuit) and free programming of switching modes (maintained, non-maintained, switched maintained) in a single circuit.
Standards Compliance: Designed/manufactured in compliance with Low-voltage Directive 2006/95/EG, Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2004/108/EG, and ISO 9001.
Applications: Ideal for emergency lighting setups requiring AC/AC conversion and automatic monitoring of safety and exit sign luminaires.
Flexibility: Allows for fast commissioning with automatic luminaire searches and individual programming of lighting modes.
Overview & Usage
EATON AC-AC CENTRAL BATTERY SYSTEM OVERVIEW & USAGE
LoadStar-PS is the new family of emergency lighting AC/AC central battery systems. The LoadStar-PS range is designed specifically for long-term sustainability, offering reduced carbon footprint and running costs, without compromising on performance. To simplify the periodic system inspection and the overall luminaire management, Eaton designed AT-S+; an automatic testing system which individually monitors up to 20 luminaires per circuit with powerline communication. The centralized, passive-standby systems reduce running costs by operating the inverter only during power failures, supporting large-scale, intelligent lighting control and monitoring to ensure safety in demanding commercial and industrial environments.
